Everybody is working for the weekend!!

Well it is labor day weekend! And of course im working....yuck! Oh well i get time and a half tomorrow. I also get to be off Tuesday with my hubby! Work was actually ok last night. the patients were setteled and It was a peaceful night. I am hoping for the same today. I am excited about the Poetry group im joining. Im a little nervous also. What if they don't like me? Or my poetry? Well im going o go and hope for the best. The wonem who started it seems nice. I like meeting new people. I like doing new things. so here I go!!

Well Here Goes!

This is my first official blog! Not that I have been in the stone ages or anything...lol I just am an old fashion girl who still writes in a journal/diary. I just felt at first there were things too personal to share. I have had a change of heart now. i still write in my journal mind you, but i an excited about doing this. I realized that it does not matter who sees this or if there are some out there who may be negative. I want to do this for me! my first act is to share a poem I wrote. Hope you guys like it!

Cursed with a gift,
I know what I shouldn't
My mind sees it all.

Is knowing better than ignorance?
Knowledge the more powerful?
A choice to seek.

Holding pearls loose and falling
one by one filling my cup
silk and shimmering drops.

The cups spills
it's treasure spews forth,
leaving it's damaged path.
